Sustainable Packaging

At Molded Pulp Engineering, creating sustainable packaging that is environmentally safe is an important goal. The primary materials for all of our molded pulp products are environmentally friendly and sustainable, significantly lessening their impact on the environment, especially compared to common packaging materials such as plastic. MPE is also focused on coated and laminated fibers to make products water, oil, and alcohol proof. We have laminating and coating capabilities in our prototype facility to help customers develop various applications.

The materials used in our molded pulp products are sourced from annually renewable virgin fibers such as bagasse, bamboo, wheat, straw, and blends of various grass fibers. Want to learn more about our sustainable materials?

We can also manufacture products for traditional wood fibers and corrugated paper drops. All of the previously mentioned fibers are sustainable, recyclable, and biodegradable.
