Custom Packaging & Products
Green packaging is in high demand as manufacturers are utilizing sustainable resources to produce environmentally friendly packaging to market their products. MPE has the capability to design and engineer molded pulp for most industries. It’s sleek, thin-walled, compostable and biodegradable. Along with packaging, MPE designs and engineerings specialized, custom molded pulp products for a variety of industries. Molded pulp has the advantage of being bio-degradable, so it is an attractive alternative to less sustainable materials like plastic.
Medical Industry
Thermoformed molded pulp is an ideal application for the medical industry. Our Safetex line is manufactured in an FDA approved factory using a heating process that heats the fibers to over 150C allowing the tray to be safe for clinical environments. As a single-use packaging source, companies are finding molded pulp to be a resource for packaging instruments for the surgical setting that is biodegradable making it an eco-friendly product. Utilizing pulp in the clinical setting also limits the spread of germs due to its single-cycle ability.

It just makes sense to package and protect electronic equipment in thermoformed molded pulp. The virgin fibers we manufacture with are longer, stronger and without particulate which can be found in pulp made from tree fiber. Just knowing that once you remove the product that the packaging is biodegradable is virtuous.
